RITZ® STICK TEST KIT
Portable device for periodic electrical tests on live line insulating poles, poles and maneuvering rods, live line ladders and insulating scaffolding.
They detect the leakage current caused by moisture, cracks, impurities on the surface or inside the insulating poles. The handling is simple, executable by a single operator through direct contact of the Ritz Tester, with the surface to be tested, indicating through the graph "APPROVED" or "FAILED", according to the leakage current of the element under test. .
Models LS-81 (standard sizes) and RT-2 (reduced sizes) reproduce electrical tests corresponding to an applied voltage of 100kV at 30cm according to the standard. To perform the test, the pole must be supported horizontally on two racks.
These models allow electrical testing with dry and wet sticks by means of a control key on the front panel of this instrument. In the wet function there is an electrical test reproduction corresponding to a voltage of 75kV at 30cm. The dry function corresponds to a voltage of 100kV at 30 cm.
