TILV-16
RITZ® PROFILING ISOLOMETER
Quickly locate a faulty insulator in the insulator chain on energized circuits.
Its operating principle is based on the measurement of the potential difference in the disc of the insulator under test. A high impedance galvanometer indicates this potential difference, allowing comparisons with other insulator discs in an insulator string.
Thus, in the faulty insulator it will present a reading considerably below the others.
It can be used to test stud insulators, single insulators, multi-part stud insulators and string insulators.
Manufactured with fiberglass tubes and housing with quick adjustment and the possibility of multi-angle contact tips, the isolometer in turn serves to test any insulator size, as well as allowing other adjustments for better operator viewing.
On the back of the instrument case is a three-position switch that varies the gauge's sensitivity to allow better selection of pointer deflection.
The measuring instrument aims to calibrate the isolometer.
A digital signal is generated for the isolometer, allowing the indicator display values to be compared with the galvanometer reading of the isolometer.
Optional presentation with the digital caliper, Model TILV-16/AFT. It is provided as an option to the main equipment
