RITZ® PHASE TEST
Portable equipment that allows easy and safe determination of phase rotation comparison, as well as AC voltage readings, phase to phase or phase to ground in transmission and distribution circuits from 1kV to 80kV.
The basic unit consists of a galvanometer that reads directly from 1kV to 16kV and a reel with 6.50m of protected 16kV cable, mounted on two RITZGLAS® poles, which are high-impedance units necessary to allow reading on the instrument.
The purpose of the custom instrument (H1879/B-AFT) is to measure the phase tester before use operations, especially after a long period of inactivity. Generates a digital signal for the test phase so that the user can compare the galvanometer reading with the value indicated on the meter screen.
